Pianist Joonas Ahonen is the artistic director of Lux Musicae Festival and a member of Klangforum Wien.


In 2011 Ahonen performed Oulu and Helsinki Festivals,
Our Festival of Pekka Kuusisto, Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue with Tapiola Sinfonietta, Zimmermann trio Présence in a concert of Ensemble Resonanz. Other highlights included Carnegie Hall with Avanti, Klangforum Wien concerts at Theater an der Wien, Wiener Konzerthaus, philharmonies Luxembourg and Cologne.
